Colleen Durkin Peterson is an associate at Holman Law in Tacoma, Washington, where she has practiced since 2014. Her practice focuses on helping patients and nursing home residents who have been injured while receiving healthcare or residing in nursing home facilities. She attended Gonzaga School of Law and Loyola University Chicago for undergrad. Ms. Durkin Peterson is an Eagle Member of the Washington State Association for Justice and has served on numerous committees, including New Member, Diversity, CLE and Legislative.

She currently serves as the VP of the Legislative Committee, Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Task Force, is on the WSAJ Board, PAC Board, and Amicus Foundation Board. Ms. Durkin Peterson received the New Lawyer Ready to Soar award in 2016. She has been named a Rising Star by SuperLawyers in the area of Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice consecutively since 2017. Ms. Durkin Peterson also serves on the Supreme Court Task Force for Civil Litigation, the Board of Advisors to the Dean of Gonzaga Law as well as the Board for Gonzaga Center for Civil and Human Rights.

In her spare time, Ms. Durkin Peterson enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and their two children, Malia and Michael.
